One of the many entertaining episodes from our March 16th eighties party. A girl requesting RBL Posse and trying not to hear that they didn’t have a release in the 80s. Same with her second request – 2Pac. Then walking away and saying “this is a 60s song” while Jeff is spinning Tell Her About It by Billy Joel (1983). At least Shazam or Google it on your smartphone before stepping to the dj. Photos from the party are here. The next edition of That 80s Show takes place April 20th at Madrone Art Bar in San Francisco. Only music released between January 1st 1980 to December 31st 1989.

You know you’re doing something right when Prince fans are asking the names of MJ songs you are playing and MJ fans ask the names of Prince songs you are playing.
